There are several positions at Institute of Biomedicine and Bioengineering, University of Science & Technology, Beijing, China for innovative scientists with interest in Cancer and/or Aging.

We are seeking Scientists with expertise and strength in molecular biology and/or chemistry. The suitable candidates will be expected to investigate problems and develop techniques for elucidating the pathogenesis of cancer or aging and show creativity and judgment of an established and highly competent scientist. The duties of the position involve setting up and evaluating complex problems in molecular oncogenesis or aging, thus requiring both conventional and novel approaches. Substantial freedom will be allowed to identify the best approach for studying the problem area. Will be expected to provide guidance to lower level research staff. Contributions are identified through authorship or co-authoring publications in scientific journals and by presentations at national and international meetings. Hands-on wet bench research will be required. Opportunity for submission of grant applications will exist for those who show creativity and independence.

Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university appropriate to biomedical research is required. Strong interpersonal skills will be needed to work closely with collaborators, and laboratory personnel. An individual at this level is expected to have made contributions by producing research work in peer-reviewed scientific journals and at professional scientific meetings in order to demonstrate scientific originality, soundness, and value.
